X (Twitter) scheduling and auto-posting
RepostHub publishes scheduled posts to your connected X account automatically. Queue posts alongside the same content going to your other platforms, customize the text per destination, and let the queue handle the timing — X has no native scheduler for third-party posts, so your queue is the scheduler.
What RepostHub can do with X
- Text posts — supported
- Video posts — supported
- Per-destination text customization — supported
- Multiple X accounts — supported
- Thread scheduling (chained posts) — not supported. Not yet available
- Importing from X — not supported
Why X posting is limited on most tools
In early 2026, X moved its developer API to pay-per-use pricing: every post a tool publishes on your behalf costs the tool money, and posts containing links cost substantially more than plain ones. There is no free API tier for new tools.
That is why most scheduling tools cap X posting with a monthly allowance instead of offering it unlimited — each post has a real marginal cost that scales with your volume. RepostHub keeps X publishing available and spaces high-volume posting under a fair-use policy rather than hiding the constraint.
What RepostHub cannot do with X
- Import posts from X into your library — X bills API reads as well as writes, so X is a publish-only destination.
- Schedule multi-post threads — single posts only for now.
- Offer unlimited X posting — very high volumes fall under a fair-use policy because X charges per published post.
How X scheduling works
- 1
Connect your X account
Add one or more X accounts you want to publish to.
- 2
Add content
Import from your source profiles or upload directly, then customize the X version of the post.
- 3
Queue it
Pick times or let your posting schedule assign them.
- 4
Publish automatically
RepostHub fires each post at the right moment — X has no native scheduling, so the queue does the timing.
X account safety
You connect accounts you control and can disconnect them at any time. Posts publish at your scheduled times with human-like spacing rather than bursts.
Because X charges tools per published post, sustained very-high-volume posting may be spaced or subject to fair-use limits — you’ll always see post status in your dashboard rather than having posts silently dropped.
Frequently asked questions
Can RepostHub post to X (Twitter) automatically?
Yes. Queued posts publish to your connected X account at the times you set, alongside the same content going to your other platforms.
Why do social media tools limit how much you can post to X?
X moved to pay-per-use API pricing in February 2026, charging developers for every post published — with a significantly higher rate for posts containing links. Tools that publish to X pay per post, so most apply a monthly allowance rather than offering unlimited X posting.
Does RepostHub charge extra for X posts?
Not during early access. When paid plans launch, X allowances per plan will be published on the pricing page — X is the one platform where each published post has a real API cost, so allowances will be stated plainly rather than hidden.
Can I import posts from X into RepostHub?
No. X bills API reads as well as writes, so X is a publish-only destination in RepostHub. You can import from Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, or upload directly.
Can I schedule threads on X?
Not yet. RepostHub currently publishes single posts to X; multi-post thread scheduling is on the roadmap.
